Coach Lindsey Klein is entering her second season with the BOOM program, bringing over a decade of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for the game. A former high school and collegiate softball player, Lindsey is committed to developing athletes both on and off the field. She believes in creating a team culture that values hard work, positivity, and growth—while never losing sight of having fun. Her goal is to help every player build confidence, compete with purpose, and prepare for success beyond the game.

• Involved with fastpitch since the age of 7
• Played for local Association growing up
• Attended Hill-Murray High School in Maplewood, MN
• Played abroad (Netherlands) for 2 weeks with other athletes from across the US the summer after senior year of high school
• Played at the University of St. Thomas under Coach John Tschida where we were nationally ranked all 4 years I was involved in the program. We also won 3 MIAC Conference titles and took 7th place at the 2019 DIII College Softball World Series.
• 5+ years experience coaching at the high school, association, and club levels
• 9+ years experience with softball instruction/training
• Experience coaching a U19 team abroad in Italy for 2 weeks
• Volunteer Coach at University of St. Mary's (Winona) during 2024 spring training
• Current St. Croix BOOM coach

• Current Asst Coach Stillwater Varsity Softball. State Champs 2018, State Runner up 2019
• Metro Top Tier State Tournament 2024 for 12u – State Runner up in Open Division
• Metro Top Tier State Tournament 2024 for 12u – State Champ in A/B Division
• Head Coach of State Champion Mn Stars in 2011
• Former men’s fastpitch player with 30 plus years experience of playing, coaching and some umpiring

• ASUN Player of the year, Pitcher of the year and Scholar Athlete of the year 2025
• Two time NCAA All Region player.
• Two time ASUN All conference player
• Led NCAA D1 in walks in 2025, 4^th in on base percentage, 6^th in nation in pitching victories
• Career record holder for University of North Florida for Home runs and multiple other records
• 2021 Star Tribune and Pioneer Press player of the year
• 2020 Gatorade Player of the year
• 2018 State Champion pitcher, 2019 State Runner up, two time All State tourney team recipient
• 2021 All State player, finalist for Ms Softball
